A Message from the Principal

Debate team
At KAPPA VI – Knowledge and Power Preparatory Academy, my mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure that every cadet who enters our school is challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve greatness. I believe our cadets are destined not only to excel academically, but also to become leaders who live with integrity, respect, and excellence. Each day, we work to cultivate confidence, resilience, and compassion, so that our young people are prepared to meet the challenges of tomorrow with strength and purpose.

My vision for KAPPA VI is to be more than just a middle school—it is to be an Ivy League Middle School Academy, a launchpad for future scholars, innovators, and leaders. In our classrooms, learning is rigorous, culturally responsive, and engaging. Our cadets are encouraged to question, to explore, and to take risks in the pursuit of knowledge. Families, educators, and community members come together as one squadron, united in the belief that when we support and challenge our cadets, they will soar to heights they never imagined.

To our cadets: you are the heart of KAPPA VI. You are the reason we work tirelessly each day, and you are the future leaders who will carry forward the values of integrity, respect, and excellence. Believe in your potential, trust the process, and know that we are here to guide you every step of the way.

To our families: your partnership is vital to our success. Together, we create the foundation on which our cadets stand. I am committed to working alongside you—listening, supporting, and celebrating every milestone. Your trust in us is a privilege, and I will always work to ensure that KAPPA VI is a place where your children feel safe, valued, and empowered to dream big.

At KAPPA VI, we see our cadets not just as students, but as future scholars and change-makers. With equity, excellence, and a deep sense of purpose, we will continue to prepare them for high school, college, careers, and life. Together, as one community, we will ensure they soar like Eagles—leading with integrity, respect, and excellence in all they do.

With pride and purpose,
Jason Murray
